Simulators

These simulators are what the airlines use all over the world to train real pilots in on a daily basis and are FAA approved. Pan Am International Flight Academy provides over two dozen airlines the required training necessary to have the utmost in safety in the sky. With these principles in mind, you will briefed on what to expect for your experience by one of our staff professionals as you take the Captain's seat to command your flight on either a Boeing 737 or MD-80 flight simulator. The simulators used are the B737-200,  B737-800,  MD-82, and MD-88 simulators. Each simulator has the same sophisticated instrumentation as the real aircraft, including navigation, engineering, and communication systems. However, you will not be expected to be responsible for all of that complexity. You will taxi, takeoff, climb, cruise, descend, and land your flight at JFK or the other airports programmed in the simulator. You may fly with either yourself or up to four people to experience the real life sensation of acceleration and deceleration just like a real airplane during your simulation experience. One of our highly trained staff members will be in the right seat with you to ensure your aviation adventure is nothing but sheer pleasure!
